Huachuma Consultancy was commenced by Muriel Turner in 1998.

Muriel offers offer a variety of effective and valuable healing services, Corporate and Private consulting and counselling, Relaxation and Meditation groups and courses, Workshops and Retreats, and hot travel deals to Peru and Bolivia, South America.

Programs can be modified to suit you, or your organisation’s needs, and ongoing support can be provided on request.

Alternative Shamanistic healing techniques, combined with Western teachings, provide an holistic process for self-healing, balance, development and life enrichment.

Private Counselling and Healing sessions

Muriel brings the Huachuma Shamanic Tradition is an holistic process of self-healing. She has a degree in Psychology, is a long-standing Member of the Australian Psychological Society [APS] and has travelled and trained with Shamans of  Peru. Ring for an appointment. Cost $90 per hour [$80 per hour concession].

Sunday March 11 & May 20: Introduction to Shamanism Workshops

Shamanism is an ancient system of self-healing... the simplicity and joy of the ancient wisdom from the peoples of the Andes of Peru. Benefits of these one day workshops include expanding an awareness of self, and exploring core patterns as a basis for transformation. Cost $190 [$175 concession].

These courses combine mainstream and alternative strategies for exploring relaxation and meditation. Benefits include theory and discussion on types of techniques, and an increased awareness of practical exercises. These are 8 week x 2 hour sessions or two day workshops. Training for staff now includes psychological wellness and resilience training. Stress has been shown to have causal links to anxiety, depression, cardiovascular disease, musculoskeletal and gastrointestinal disorders, back pain and much more.  Friday to Sunday April 20-22 & June 15-17: Three day Healing Retreats

These are designed to help put the spirit back into your life, the life back into your spirit and how to incorporate spirit in your everyday life. Techniques include ancient Peruvian techniques of healing, such as Icaros, dance, meditations and ceremonies. Cost $500 [$450 concession].

21 Day tour of Peru and Bolivia, South America [late September]

These tours offer a variety of different experiences - the landscapes of cities, rural settings, sacred sites [Macchu Picchu and many more], the Andes Mountains, Lake Titicaca; and great cultural experiences, the people, their lifestyles, arts and crafts, and spirituality. Prices from $A8,500.
